Strobino Earns Conference Co-Player of the Year

Sarah Strobino earned Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Year Honors after her record setting season. Strobino (Buffalo, N.Y.) scored a career high 27 goals this season, which was good enough to give her the Northland College career record of 57 goals. The junior forward didn't tally any assists, but the 54 points was also a career high. Strobino has been a 1st Team All-Conference selection all three years of her career.
Senior Brittany Ballwanz (Fond du Lac, Wis.) was named to the All-Conference 1st Team. The senior goalkeeper tallied 125 saves and had a Goals Against Average of 1.26. She finished her career with 747 saves. Ballwanz has been an All-Conference selection all four years.
Junior Amanda Seely (Powell, Ohio) also made the All-Conference 1st Team. The center midfielder recorded eight goals and 12 assists to give her a career high 28 points. For Seely, it is her third All-Conference selection, but her first apperance on the 1st Team.
Freshman Rebecca Lake (Portland, Ore.) was also named 1st Team All-Conference. The rookie sweeper tallied one goal and four assists, while locking down a young defense. It marks the first career post season honor for Lake.
Rounding out the LumberJills Post Season honors were a pair of All-Conference Honorable Mentions. Junior Mariah Cook (Washburn, Wis.) earns her first career post-season award after she tallied a career high 22 points (6 Goals, 10 Assists). Freshman defender Bryanna Johnson (Hudson, Wis.) also picks up her first career award. She finished with three assists on the season.
