The LumberJacks returned to LumberJack Field on Friday and spit a UMAC double-header with the visiting Crown College Storm. The Jacks won the first game 16-3 and loss the night-cap 11-2. Northland moves to 9-18 overall and 6-10 in the UMAC.

Junior Bryce Szymanski was the story in game one going the distance on the mound to pick up his second win of the season. He also helped his own cause at the plate going 2-2 with 2 rbi's and 3 runs scored. B.J. Leach also had two hits and an rbi for the Jacks. Junior Josh Spiegel would chip in with 2 hits and 2 rbi's for Northland. Each team was able to score twice in the 1st inning and then went scoreless in the second. The third inning was a different story as the Jack put up 5 runs to take the lead. Northland would then blow the game open by scoring 8 runs in the bottom of the 6th. Szymanski would have two hits in the inning for Northland.

In game two, the Storm jumped ahead early as they scored 4 runs in 1st the and 5 more in the 3rd. Rockwell Donatelle would get the win for Crown scattering 10 hits over 7 innings, walking one and striking out one. Jeremy Snow (2-4 1 rbi), B.J. Leach (3-4), and Chad Moore (2-3 run scored) led the Jacks at the plate.
Saturday's single 9-inning game was postponed and re-scheduled for April 28th at LumberJack Field starting at 3:00 PM. The game will be web-cast from northlandcollegesports.com.
