After having a good weekend with the bats, the LumberJacks were silenced by the UW-Superior Yellowjackets 3-0 this afternoon. Two Yellowjackets combined on a 4-hitter as the Jacks fall to 8-14 (5-9 UMAC). Bryce Szymanski took the loss on the mound for the Jack despite only giving up 3 runs on 7 hits. unfortunately they were able to get a couple of hits with men on base and we weren't" said Head Coach Andy Ham. Jeremy Snow, Matt Tanneberg, Chad Moore and Craig Turner each had a hit apiece for Northland. The Jacks will be in action tomorrow as they will head to Duluth to take on St. Scholastica at Wade Stadium for a double header. The first game, which is a conference game with start at 5:00 PM. The two teams will play a non-conference game following the first.
