The LumberJacks lost the second game of their MCHA series to Lake Forest this afternoon. The loss puts the Jacks record at 2-15-0 overall and 2-10-0 in conferene play. Nicholas Hewko scored a hat-trick for Northland in the 8-5 loss. Please see box score below for full stats.

Nicholas Hewko (Fr./ Hamilton, Ont.), who came into the game tied for the team lead in goals, scored three more to bring his season total to 10. Nick Doiron (So./ Chateau-Richar, Quebec) and Colin McIntosh (So./ Calgary, Alb.) each scored a goal and added two assists. Chad Moore (Jr./ Airdrie, Alb.) and Brady Vandenberk (Fr./ Strathroy, Ont.) chipped in two assists a piece.
Dan McIntosh (Jr./ Calgary, Alb.) made 40 saves in a losing effort.
The Jacks will be back on the ice on Friday against Concordia at home.
