Nicholas Hewko scored three goals for his second hat-trick in a row as the Jacks defeated the Concordia University Falcons tonight 8-2.  The win improves the Jacks to 3-15-0 overall and 3-10-0 in the MCHA.  

The Jacks led after one period 2-1 after Hewko and Kraig Wright put them up early.  Hewko would complete the hat-trick in the second period and Senior Josh Spiegel would score his first goal of the season to give the Jacks a commanding 5-1 lead after two periods of play.  

The Falcons would make is 5-2 as they scored a power play goal early in the third, but Northland would respond with 3 unanswered goals for the 8-2 final.  Daniel McIntosh made 29 saves to earn his third win of the season.  The Jacks will look to sweep the Falcons tomorrow at the Bay Area Civic Center starting at 3:05 p.m.
