The LumberJills won their fifth straight and improved to 13-5 overall on the season with a 63-47 win over conference rival St. Scholastica today. The Jills stay undefeated in the UMAC with an 8-0 record. The first half was tight for both teams as the Jils held a slim 29-28 lead. In the second half the Jills would played solid defense as the Saints shot only 18% from the floor. Lindsey Hamm once again led the Jills with 12 points, Laura Fisher came off the bench to chipped in with 11. Ashley Runge led the Jills with 8 rebounds. The Jills will be back in action at home on Monday as they host UW-Superior for a non-conference game.
