The LumberJacks were able to squeak out a win tonight on the road against Martin Luther 56-55.  The win improves the Jacks to 5-19 overall and 3-10 in the UMAC.  Neither team shot well in the first half as the Knights and Jacks went into the break tied at 25-25.  The score would remain just close in the second half as the largest lead would be five for the Knights at 51-46 with 4:01 left in the game.  The Jacks would come back to make it a two point game after a Michael Mackey three-pointer.   Zeb Woiak would then steal a Knights pass and Joey Brennan would make a jumper to tie the game at 51-51.  After two Knight free throws Ryan Cannata would then get a fast break to tie the game once again.  Cannata would then make a steal to give the Jacks back the ball.  Mackey would then make another big three to give the Jacks the lead they would not give up.  Mackey finished the game with 21 points and 5 assists.  Cannata tallied 19 points and Joey Brennan grabbed 8 boards and chipped in 8 points.  The Jacks will conclude their season tomorrow at Bethany Lutheran.  Tip-off is set for 5 p.m.
