The LumberJacks lost tonight in game one of their last regular season MCHA series to Marian University 8-2.  The Sabres outshot the Jacks 67-19 in the game.  Marian would score four times in the 1st period to take a 4-0 lead after one.  They would score two more in the second but the Jacks were respond with two goals of their own in the second period.  Colin McIntosh scored an unassisted goal to get the Jacks on the board.  Chad Moore would score a power play goal on assists from Ryan Pageau and Matt Tanneberg seven minutes later to get the Jacks to within 3 goals of the Sabres at 5-2.  That would be as close as Northland would get as Marian would score three more unanswered goals for the 8-2 final.  The Jacks drop to 5-18-1 overall and 5-13-1 in the MCHA.  Daniel McIntosh made 59 saves in a losing effort.  The Jacks will conclude their regular season tomorrow again against the Sabres starting at 4 p.m.
