The LumberJacks lost to the Lawrence Vikings 5-1 on Friday night in game one of their MCHA playoff series. The Vikings held a 1-0 advantage after one period of play, out shooting the Jacks 12-5 in the period. Junior captatin Chad Moore would even the game up at one when he scored just 18 seconds into the second period. David Manning picked up the assist on the goal. The Vikings would then score 3 times to take a 4-1 lead after two. They would add one more in the third period for the 5-1 final. The Jacks will now have to win Saturday afternoon in order to stay alive and have a chance to move on to the next round. They will hit the ice at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
