The LumberJills have had a habit of finding away to win in close games this season. That trend continued tonight as they used some clutch free-throw shooting to earn a 59-56 win over the Presentation College Saints. The Jills improve to 15-5 overall and 9-0 in the UMAC. Senior Mel Waytashek (Little Falls, Minn.) led the Jills with 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. The game was tied at the half at 24-24. The Jills would build a small lead in the second half but were not able to pull away from the Saints as the lead would only grow to five points. Late clutch free throw shooting by Waytashek and Laura Fisher (jr. Green Bay, Wis.) would help the Jills preserve the win. Fisher would tally 13 points off the bench and sophomore Ashley Runge (Grand Rapids, Minn.) scored 13 points in her first start of the season. The Jills will look to get to 10-0 in UMAC play tomorrow afternoon when they travel to Morris, Minn. to take on the UM-Morris Cougars starting at 3 p.m. The game will have a live webcast on
