Northland College (4-16-1, 4-11-1 MCHA) came back after last night's loss to earn a split with Lawrence University, and also keep their playoff hopes alive. Lawrence (8-11-1, 7-7-1) fall back to .500 in conference play.

Chad Moore (Jr./ Airdrie, Alb.) scored two goals and added two assists in the 5-3 win. His line accounted for four of the goals in the game. Aman Sidhu (Fr./ Port Alberni, BC) tallied three assists in the game, while Nicholas Hewko (Fr./ Hamilton, Ont.) added a goal and an assist. Brian Zwawa (Buffalo, N.Y.) scored his first goal of the season. Rounding out the scoring was Colin McIntosh (So./ Calgary, Alb.) with a goal, and Kraig Wright (Fr./ Corunna, Ont.) and Nick Doiron (So./ Chateau-Richar, Quebec) tallying an assist a piece.

Kyle Finch (So./ Peterborough, Ont.) started between the pipes for the Jacks. He picked up his first collegiate win by making 23 saves in the contest.

The LumberJacks go on the road next weekend to face Finlandia University in Hancock, Mich. Finlandia and Northland are battling for the last playoff spot in the MCHA. Games are set for 7:15 p.m. on Friday and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both times are Eastern Standard Time.
