The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference released their basketball post season awards this weekend. Both the Northland College basketball teams recieved two honors a piece, with the Women's team receiving a first team and a second team selection, and the Men's team earning an honorable mention and an All-Defensive selection.
For the Women's basketball team, Lindsey Hamm (Sr./ Ontonagon, Mich.) was selected to the All-Conference 1st team after she averaged 10.8 PPG (12.6 PPG in conference games) and was third in the conference in assists. For the reigning UMAC Player of the Year, the selection was her fourth All-Conference honor.
Chelsea Lundgren (Sr./ Crosby, Minn.) was selected to the All-Conference 2nd team. She averaged 9.2 PPG (9.9 in conference play) while leading the LumberJills in rebounds. The honor was Lundgren's third post-season selection.
For the Men's basketball team, Joey Brennan (Jr./ Ashland, Wis.) was selected for an All-Conference Honorable Mention nod. Brennan averaged 10.6 PPG (10.9 in conference games) while leading the UMAC in assists.
Zeb Woiak (Jr./ Nekoosa, Wis.) was honored with a UMAC All-Defense selection. The LumberJack forward led the conference in blocked shots, while finishing fourth in rebounds.
