The LumberJacks ended their season on a very positive note as they swept UW-Stout in Menomonie, Wis. The Jacks end their season on a three game winning streak and with an overall record of 12-27. The games were also the last of the season for the Blue Devils who end their season with a record of 11-28.
In game one Matt Tanneberg was the story for the Jacks. Tanneberg went 4-4 at the plate and also pitched a complete for the win. The Jacks took the lead in the top of the 3rd as Bryce Szymanski singled with two outs and reached second base on a wild pitch. Szymanski would then score on a RBI single by Tanneberg. The Jacks would get another run in the 4th on a RBI single by Dan Salewski. Northland would break the game open in the 5th with 5 runs to make it 7-0. Jeremy Snow and Peter Aerts would have RBI singles during the inning. Tanneberg earned the win after pitching 7 innings with three struck outs. Snow and Josh Spiegel would each have two eats apiece.

Great pitching was once again the story in game two as senior Bryce Szymanski turned one of the better performances on the mound for the Jacks. Szymanski went the distance for the Jacks allowing only three hits and striking out three. The Jacks pushed a run across in the first to take an early 1-0 lead. Peter Aerts led off the inning with a walked and advanced to second on a single by Bryce Szymanski. After advancing to third on a fly out Aerts would score on a sac fly by Cody Carroll. The Jacks would add two more runs in the fourth for a 3-0 lead. Josh Spiegel had the big hit of the inning with a double down the right field line scoring the two runs. Northland would add another run in the 5th and a run in the 7th for the 5-1 win. Szymanksi and Tanneberg would lead the Jacks with two hits. Carroll and Spiegel each had two RBI's on the game.
