The LumberJacks fell behind early to the UM-Morris Cougars, rallied for the lead but could not hold on for the win as they dropped a 5-4 decision to the Cougars.  Morris would score twice in the first to gain an early advantage.  The Jacks would cut the lead in half in the 2nd when Cody Carroll scored on an error by the second basemen on a ground ball by Craig Tuner.  Starting pitcher Bryce Szymanksi would settle down and hold the Cougars right there as the Jacks tied the game in the 7th and then took the lead in the top half of the 8th.  Peter Aerts and Bryce Szymanski would start the inning off with walks.  Matt Tanneberg reached on an error to load the bases.  Carroll would hit a shot to the third basemen as Aerts was out at the plate but the Cougars would over throw the double play attempt to score Szymanski.  Ryan Johnson would plate another run with an RBI ground out.  The Cougars would then take back the lead in the bottom half of the inning.  Nick Olson homered to tie the game at 4 with a homer to left.  After an error and a single Cougars would score the winning run on a bloop hit into short right field.  Second basemen Jeremy Snow and right fielder Peter Aerts would both converge on the play but the ball was able to drop.  The Jacks did get the tying run to 1st in the top of the 9th after singles by Dan Salewski and Aerts.  Snow would lead the Jacks with a hit, and a RBI.  Aerts, Salewski and Carroll would also add a hit apiece.
