Head Coach Heidi Smith is proud to announce the recruiting class for the fall of 2010. Four new LumberJills will compete this season. The LumberJills finished with an overall record of 15-18 last season. They finished 3rd place in the UMAC with a 9-5 record.
Andrea Hubka is from Moorhead, Minnesota. She has played volleyball for Moorhead High School, Moorhead JO Volleyball and Detroit Lakes JO Volleyball as an outside hitter. Her interests include photography, scrapbooking, reading and coaching volleyball.
Dianna Martin is coming to Northland from South High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In high school, Diana was an all-around player, seeing the front row in every position. At Northland she plans to start working towards sports medicine/physical therapy degree.
Jayna Loy is from Chaffey High School in Ontario, California. She is a Middle Hitter and she also plans to play softball in the spring. Jayna intends to major in elementary education or environmental geosciences, and hopes to continue her education in California after graduating from Northland.
Brooke Daverveld is coming to Northland from Menasha High School in Menasha, Wisconsin. She is a setter that also has defensive experience. She will be majoring in Elementary Education.
