Head Coach
Andy Ham
Coach Andy Ham is in his 3rd season as the Head Baseball Coach at Northland College. In his first two seasons as the Jacks Head Coach, Ham has led the Jacks to an overall record of 25-47. The 13 wins in his first season as coach were the most since the 2006 season. Ham has coached five 1st Team All-Conference players and three Honorable Mention players. Coach Ham has also coached one All-Region player and one UMAC Rookie of the year. Additionally the LumberJacks have had five Academic All-Conference student athletes during Ham's tenure.
Originally from Maine, Coach Ham received his Bachelor's Degree from Husson College in May of 2005, majoring in Physical Education. While there, he was also a four-year member of the Husson Eagles, primarily playing first base. During Coach Ham's career, the Eagles finished second in their conference two times and won the conference championship once.
After graduating, Coach Ham became a graduate assistant coach at Siena Heights University, an NAIA school in Michigan where he received a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadrship. Coach Ham was extensively involved in recruiting, and helped build the Junior Varsity program from scratch during his three years.
Coach Ham will also assume the Sports Information Director role at Northland College. He and his wife, Reyna, reside in Ashland.

Dick Joyal
A native of Ashland, Wisconsin, Dick Joyal is entering his sixth year as an assistant for the LumberJacks, but that pales in comparison to the knowledge and perspective that Coach Joyal brings to the table. He has been involved with every baseball program in the community of Ashland at some point over the past 30 years. Coach Joyal was responsible for starting and carrying on the club program at Northland College for ten years along with being a pillar in the Ashland baseball community. Coach Joyal gives a direct line of knowledge to the recruiting base of Northern Wisconsin.
