Kendrigan Gymnasium
The Kendrigan Gymnasium was named after J.T. Kendrigan, who spent more than four decades at Northland. He was the athletic director for 35 of those years. He transformed the athletic program and allowed it to grow, along with the spirit of Northland. Today the gym is home to the Northland College Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams and the Volleyball team.
Northland College Soccer Field
The Northland College Soccer Field is home to the men’s and women’s soccer teams. The Soccer Field is located behind the Kendrigan Gymnasium and has beautiful a scenic location. It is surrounded by trees on three sides with fan sitting up the east sideline. There is also a sloping hill behind the south goal which is a hot spot for students. There’s no better way to spend a beautiful fall day than watching a soccer game.
LumberJill Field
LumberJill Field is home to the Northland College Softball team. This state of the art field was constructed in 2004 and is beautifully groomed complete with a warning track, open-faced dugouts, 200 foot fences and bullpens next to each dugout. The field is located just east of the campus, on the street directly across from the main entrance to the campus. It has a great secluded location facing a wooded ravine with an intramural field to the south. The baseball field is located just to the southwest of LumberJill Field.
LumberJack Field
LumberJack Field is home to the Northland College Baseball team. Just four years old, the field was built with major league specifications and includes irrigation and drainage to be playable in nearly every type of weather. It’s complete with a warning track, a dazzling grass infield, open faced dugouts, a 385 foot center field fence and bullpens next to each dugout. LumberJack Field is located just east of the campus on the street located directly across from the main entrance to the campus. The softball field is located just to the northeast of LumberJack Field.
