Ashland, WI- The Northland College LumberJill Volleyball team traveled to Hancock, MI this evening to take on the Lions from Finlandia University, winning in 5 sets 3-2 (20-25, 25-19, 17-25, 25-19, 15-11). Leading the way for the Jills was Senior Camille Eastburn with 18 kills. Freshman Nora Hagen and Justine Litherland would both have 11 kills on the night. Taylor Wiegert would lead the team in assists with 29 and Justine Litherland lead in digs with 18. 

"The team started out slow but then lit it up during the second set", said Head Coach Kim Falkenhagen. "Taylor Wiegert and Nora Hagen did a great job jumping into the starting line-up and playing all the way around. I am really proud of the team and we needed the momentum going into conference this weekend". 

Next up are two home games as the Jills open up UMAC play September 16th vs. Minnesota Morris and the University of Northwestern at 2 and 4 P.M.
